BALTIMORE (November 27, 2000) - Learning is mission critical for the 2000 Maryland Technology Showcase. More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the 6th annual Showcase - featuring over 250 exhibitors - at the Baltimore Convention Center on December 6 and 7. And it's free!
Visitors will gain insights into the State's vision for the new economy - how education and technology combine to impact workforce development, skills enhancement, higher education, and business. Register free at www.mdtechshowcase.com. Special $3 parking will be available at nearby Camden Yards.
"Maryland is at ground zero for the technology revolution," said Governor Parris N. Glendening. "The Maryland Technology Showcase is one of the State's best education tools. Not only are participants involved in workshops and hands-on demonstrations, they get to hear from some of the greatest minds in technology. That brings international attention to our backyard. That is why the Showcase is so important and why it has been so successful."
